Poker Bonus Code Bonuses

Bonuses are very important in today’s online poker landscape. Bonuses and other special promotions are critical in attracting new players to an online poker room or casino. Particularly with online poker and the poker games getting tougher as players develop their poker skills, you need to play better every day in order to guarantee yourself a healthy winrate, and if not, supplement your poker game with any player incentives and promotions so that your time at the tables is worth it. And online poker bonuses are a great help towards that, because they are essentially money left on the table, easily within reach.

Below are some of the top online poker bonuses available:

When considering joining an online poker room, and taking advantage of any new player bonus, it's always important to look for a poker bonus code that can provide you the maximum bonus, or other special perks, normally not available. Most of the online poker rooms prompt your for some sort of Bonus Code when either registering a new account, or making your first real money deposit. At this point, be sure to use the best bonus code possible to get all the extra perks and bonus dollars you can! We'll provide you some great poker bonus codes on this site so check them out!

Poker bonuses are particularly handy when you are building up your bankroll. Whether you just started from zero or have recently cashed out a very significant part of it, bonuses will always help to get your bankroll back on track.

But what exactly are these poker bonuses and how can you get your hands on them?

Online poker sites will almost always give you some sort of first deposit bonus or new account bonus. These range from like 20% up to $100 to 100% match up to $1000. There are also a few rooms which will double your initial deposit, which means that if you deposit $300, your bonus will be for $600. Also available are reload bonuses which are just like first deposit bonuses except they may clear at different rates and will be available to you on a regular basis instead of just once per account. You will also encounter milestone bonuses, which will be awarded to you (some may have to be purchased however) once you clear, for instance, certain player points milestones. Some rooms even offer No Deposit bonuses, which allows you to get the ball rolling on real money tables without even having to deposit!

Obviously, if somebody gives you extra money like that, it would boost your bankroll greatly, particularly if you are a beginner player. And not only that: you can do this with every new account you have, instantly boosting your roll to Mt. Everest-like heights!

Online poker bonuses have a few important aspects as to how they work. The most important piece is how long it takes to clear, or earn, those bonuses and convert those bonus dollars to real money. Another important aspect of the bonus is how large it is, and if is released in one lump sum or in chunks. Most of the sites have some sort of player points in place, and the bonus clearing rates are explicitly given to you. You should always investigate your site of choice thoroughly to find out which ones they have and how they clear.

Let’s take a one of the most popular bonuses as an example, which would be the new player Full Tilt Poker bonus. Full Tilt Poker gives you a 100% match up to $600, which means that the online poker site will match your initial deposit of $600 with $600 of their own. This particular bonus is released in $20 chunks, which means every time you earn about 333 Full Tilt Points, which are generated when playing poker hands at the real money tables, $20 of the bonus is yours. After you have played enough to generate 10,000 Full Tilt Points, you will have doubled your initial deposit through the bonus alone, and this is not counting whatever you made through playing poker. If you lost some money through playing poker, say $300 of your $600 initial deposit, you will still end up with $300 + $600 = $900 after you earn 10,000 Full Tilt Points. And if you won some money, say another $600, you would end up with a roll that’s $600 x 3 = $1800 in size. You would be rolled to play some 50NL quicker than you would have through play alone!

Bonuses can help you weather the variance storm. Bonuses will also help you increase your roll in a shorter time. Bonuses can also help increase your roll if you have been breaking even in tougher games. And there is no problem with stringing poker bonuses one after the other, hopping from poker site to poker site and taking advantage of all their bonuses in order to build a massive bankroll. You should also keep an eye out for other types of bonuses, such as reload bonuses which are how some sites reward your continued business, and milestone bonuses which are usually available in one form or the other in the site’s bonus store or VIP store, and these reward you for achieving different player point milestones.

The most important thing to know is what kind of bonus it is and how fast it clears. Obviously, first deposit bonuses (and also no deposit bonuses) for example are only available if it’s indeed your first deposit; so just one time and afterwards it will be gone forever!

Poker players know UltimateBet (also known as UB) as one of the major US poker sites before Black Friday took place on April 15th of last year. Not a lot has been heard from the company since that fateful day, aside from the fact that US funds were frozen and International players had to wait extremely long periods of time to see their money at all.

The site was brought back into the spotlight just a few days ago when it was announced that their company, 6356095 Canada Inc., is being sued by a group of eight poker players. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in California. It alleges that Excapsa Software Inc., the company name 6356095 Canada Inc. used to go by, violated the RICO Act. RICO stands for Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations.

Excapsa is also under fire for negligence that caused over $20…

Sometimes it’s blatantly obvious a final table is going to be stacked from top to bottom. This was definitely the case with the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $100,000 Super High Roller No Limit Holdem event. On the final day of the event, 8 of the world’s best gathered in the Bahamas to battle it out for a first place prize of $1.25 million.

30 players joined the massive tournament. Added to the prize pool were two optional rebuys: Jonathan Duhamel and Bill Perkins each put up another $100,000 to continue in the tournament after they busted. Isaac Haxton lead all players heading into Day 2, but he was unable to make it into the final day. Do you think he went back to his hotel room and used the PokerStars install on his computer after busting?

Galen Hall enjoyed the overnight chip lead heading into the final day with…

PokerStars has a lot of competition, with competing sites including the PartyPoker and Titan Poker download. They do a lot of things that cause them to rise above other online rooms, however, and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) is an example of this. The PCA is hosted by PokerStars every year as a start to their European Poker Tour (EPT).

The PCA is hosted by the Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. If you are sick of your cold winter weather, this might be the perfect place for you! You might know about Paradise Island from a couple Hollywood movies. For example, Casino Royale (a James Bond movie), was filmed at the Ocean Club in 2006.

This year’s version of the PCA has 41 events over a ten day time period. The Main Event, which started a few days ago on the 7th, costs $10,300 to enter, but…

MTT poker is very relevant on PokerStars. In fact, aside from the PokerStars bonus code, tournaments are a huge reason why many players choose to play on this particular site. Every year they run some huge tournament series. Typically they have started with the Spring Championship of Online Poker, and then their biggest tournament series occurs later on in the year with the World Championship of Online Poker.

While their series always feature a number of turbo events, there has never been a series entirely dedicated to turbo poker. Never until 2012, that is. Just recently PokerStars rolled out the schedule for the first ever Turbo Championhip of Online Poker (TCOOP), scheduled for the second half of January.

This exciting new series will feature 50 events and $10 million in guaranteed prizes. Different event options will include knockouts, 2x chance, 6 max, big antes, and much more. Aside from…

Whether it’s on the PKR download or in a brick-and-mortar, poker players love huge tournaments. The thrill of going deep in an event with a huge prize cannot be matched, and amateurs are attracted to the fact that even non-pros can win big money. Sometimes a tournament will take place in which very few of these amateurs make it to the final table, though. The recent The Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic was an example of this.

One of the big name pros at the final table was former November Niner Soi Nguyen. Since making the Main Event final table in 2010, Nguyen has done very well and has had some huge scores in tournaments around the world.

Andrew Lichtenberger, who has had tons of success on the best US poker sites, was at the final table, as was Vanessa Selbst. Antonio Esfandiari, who won Five…

If you joined a poker strategy forum this year, you might have heard about Black Friday and the banning of Internet poker in America. The rest of the world isn’t having much trouble with poker popularity, however. This can be seen in the recently hosted WPT Prague, an event recently taking place in the Czech Republic.

WPT Prague’s participation exceeded expectations as the tournament broke the record for the most entries in a WPT event in Europe. Many think that Martin Staszko’s success in the WSOP Main Event this year inspired many people to try their hand at tournament poker. An impressive 571 people paid €3,500 to play WPT Prague.

The first elimination of the final table was that of Russell Carson, who goes by ‘rdcrsn’ in online poker rooms. He was the victim of an early lost coinflip, which ousted him in 6th place. Sigurd Eskelund…

PokerStars, known as one of the best Euro poker sites, has expanded its reach to Asia. They created the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), and their most recent stop was in Macau.

The big news early in the event was the Phil Ivey sighting. The former Full Tilt Poker pro hasn’t been seen at any live events since FTP’s huge issues started up in April. We assume that he just stayed home and did a lot of online casino gambling. While his appearance caused quite the buzz, he was unable to make a deep run in this live event.

575 players showed up for the event at 30,000 Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) per entry. The prize pool topped out at 15,552,600 HKD with 3,772,000 HKD for first place.

PokerStars Team Pro Randy “nanonoko” Lew made the final table but was coming in as the table short stack with…

Poker has become a worldwide phenomenon in the past few years and the European Poker Tour is a great example of that. Sponsored by the Poker Stars download, the brand continues to grow and recently held their very first event in Greece. Loutraki saw 336 players show up over two Day 1’s at €4,400 a piece. After all was said and done first place topped out at €347,000.

The very first finisher at the final table was German pro Mario Puccini, better known as Pokerccini in the online arena. He got in the last of his money with KQ suited against A8 offsuit but was unable to connect. He busted in 8th place.

Shortly after Puccini busted, a huge pot ensued. Pierre Mothes opened, which was met by a reraise from Hauke Heseding. The reraise, however, was then met by a four bet reraise all-in by Andras Kovacs. You…

Advocates of online casino USA continue to make a case for legal online gambling in the United States. There are some hearings that could help the cause this week. In the afternoon on November 18th, a Senate hearing will take place. The very next day, a hearing will take place in the House of Representatives at 9:00 am.

One of the most important people when it comes to legalizing US poker sites has to be Al D’Amato, the chairman of the Poker Players Alliance. Since he is a former Senator, he knows firsthand how the government operates. A recent hearing in the house had him as a witness.

People have been pushing hard for poker regulation the last few months. In fact, the House Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade held a hearing about online poker just last month on the 26th. That particular hearing had mostly…
